Procreate Brush Thumbnail Extractor
Quickly get a PNG thumbnail from your Procreate Brush files. This handy app can save you a lot of time if you are trying to get a thumbnail sample of the brushes you've worked hard to make in Procreate. This app is a MUST for those of you who make your own brushes and regularly publish samples of how your brushes look. This is a huge time saver! Simply drop your Procreate brush onto the app, and it will extract the brush's built in thumbnail, and add the brush name to it as well. The end result is the transparent PNG that is used in Procreate's brush menu.
Only for MAC OS X
Verified to work on an M1 Mac, running Monterey 12.3.1
NOTE: On first use, you will get a notice that the app needs access to control Finder. If you do not grant it access, it will not work.
This is intended exclusively to work with Procreate Brush files. This will not work with a Brush Set file.
Procreate not included.
This utility was made possible with the help of Rick Johnson from Graffix. If you also use Adobe Illustrator, you may want to see the various tools and plug-ins he's made for that! Visit his site with the link below!
You'll get the app, in a ZIP file. Works great when you place the app in your applications folder and put a shortcut for it on the dock.
